33rd Human Rights Council - Education


In the afternoon of the second day of the 33rd Human Rights Council, the assembly focused on the issue of education. Interestingly, the approach adopted was not a general one, shaped around the importance of the fulfillment of the right to education. Instead, the Council specifically discussed the importance of receiving an education on human rights.

At its closure, the 32nd Human Rights Council (HRC) represented an important milestone in the international panorama. The Council focused its work on conflict zones and countries affected by military action. States like Syria, Yemen, Burundi and Ukraine – with reference to the war in Crimea – took part in the discussion and were involved in the working agenda.
